"Wrong club shipped and shipping deadline missed twice!"
I ordered two used clubs for my wife and paid for guaranteed shipping in 2 business days.

- The clubs arrived in 3 business days and one of them was wrong as it was incorrectly described on the website.
- Called and ordered a replacement club and confirmed that shipping would be 2 business days.
- Replacement club scheduled to arrive on 3rd business day.

Two lessons: Be very wary of the website club descriptions and do NOT pay for expedited shipping as they do not deliver.

"Brian was fantastic and knowledgeable…"
Brian was fantastic and knowledgeable and answered all my questions with confidence. I was looking for a TaylorMade driver. He asked background questions to come up with the best suggestion for me and deferred me from bad advice from friends that do not know as much. He was patient and took the time to explain and work with a 30+ handicap golfer.

"Was at 2nd swing today in Scottsdale…"
Was at 2nd swing today in Scottsdale and waiting to use the restroom, after several several minutes a staff member walked out that had just smoked weed in the bathroom inside the store.
A cloud of smoke followed him out and he was smiling at me because he knew he couldn’t hide what he had just done. I normally don’t care but he is a staff member that’s offering recommendations to people that are spending a lot of money, and I would prefer that person have a clear mind

"First time having a fitting…"
This was my first time having a fitting session and Alex Wardle was great. He was/is very knowledgeable and took time in explaining all of the data and how it all related to my swing, plus what type of clubs that would be best for me. Would highly recommend 2nd Swing and specifically Alex.

Gary Shoberg from 2nd Swing in Minnetonka, Mn was great. Went in there with a list of items. Didn't upsell, just reviewed my game and made some suggestions. It was a great experience. Hope he can come up with my 7 wood I need. Thanks Gary!

"Ordered the JPX 921"
Ordered the JPX 921, a couple hybrids, and a Ping G425 driver from them. Made the order on a Friday, received my clubs the following Monday. Everything was perfect. Exceptional communication. Will never buy golf clubs from anywhere else. This is a great place to purchase clubs from. THANK YOU!

"Great experience."
I recently visited the Scottsdale store to purchase a Fairway Wood. I had a great swing fitting with Jacob Locke, who recommended three potential clubs and helped me to evaluate them. I would highly recommend Jacob for a swing fitting.

"New irons"
I went 2nd swing golf yesterday to get fitted for new irons. I had an appointment with Blaine and he helped me greatly with understanding the value of new irons by the analysis of my swing. The hour long session exceeded my expectations and would definitely go back in the future for more clubs and golf instruction. I have full confidence in Blaine and recommend him highly!

I ordered and paid for a 4 wood with a SENIOR Flex. They sent me a club with a stiff or maybe even an EXTRA Stiff shaft. I have sent several emails to absolutely ZERO response. There is NO reason for a company to operate in this manner. Never again!!

"Ordered a TaylorMade wedge and had to…"
Ordered a TaylorMade wedge and had to call multiple times to check on order. Took over a MONTH to get my wedge. First it was TaylorMade didn't have the shaft I wanted then they couldn't get into the TaylorMade Portal to check on my order. It was one excuse after another. That order with 2nd swing was my last.

"I took my 15 year old grandson for full fitting"
I took my 15 year old grandson for a pre scheduled
11:30am 1 1/2 hour FULL club fitting. We arrive 10 minutes early and we were greeted immediately and our "Fitter" pointed us to a simulator. He asked about my grandsons experience level and his height. He handed him a seven iron and had him hit 10 (aprox) balls. Without any instruction he handed him a different 7 iron and had him repeat the (10 shots )
He then left and returned with a full set of used ladies clubs and handed him the 7 iron and told him to hit a few balls. After hitting the requested number of balls he said that the set of clubs he went and got were the only clubs they had that would be ok for him.
He indicated we were done, and I asked the Pro if we were expected to buy a full set of clubs wouldn't it be prudent if we at least got a look at and maybe even hit the driver. He said, "Sure if you want to."
My grandson hit a few balls with the driver and no input at all from the Pro.
Again he repeated that the clubs he showed us were what he advised us to buy.
I asked if we could try the putter and he directed us to the downstairs putting area. We both putted for about 5 minutes and again no input from the Pro.
He directed us to the cashier where I was presented a bill for $150. US dollars. I inquired why was I being charged for a full club 1 1/2 hour fitting since we had only been in the building 25 minutes total. His reply was " Well that's the way it rung up. You can use the amount against any in house purchase."
I apologized to my grandson on the way out and all he could say was. "Thanks for bringing me Grampa, but that was terrible."
I later called them and requester the person who answered to connect me to the manager. I was told the manager wasn't in. I asked the man who answered the call, to have the manager call me. He said he would put the message on the managers desk. The following day I got a call from the Pro, who gave us the bums rush the previous day and he fumbled around trying to justify his Professional Fitting. He invited me back in with my grandson to do it over.
I declined. I was born in the dark but not last night. I wasn't interested in putting my grandson through any more embarrassment.
I had a full club fitting some years prion to this, at a different golf store and it was terrific. I immediately bought a full set of clubs and was very happy with them. But....The fitter I had cared about what he was doing.
Unfortunately I won't be back to 2nd swing except to try to find somethin to get with the wasted $150 "Full
club fitting"

"2nd swing isn't worth the 2nd chance"
On June 17th I placed an order for a custom p790 iron. About 5 days later I received an email saying the shaft I had selected was no longer an available option. Ok. No problem. I understand it happens. I end up asking if I can put the 208.57 I spent on the p790 toward an in-stock preowned set they had listed on their site. The rep sends me an invoice for the difference which I paid on June 30th. I received an email confirmation for payment and I'm advised order will be shipped out next day. I dont really expect it to ship next day and by July 5th I see a label created updated. Now I expect my order to ship on the 6th. Well... come July 11th I havent received my order. I check the tracking and see that it hasn't moved at all. It still says "label created."

I call and speak to a rep who tells me he will check with taylormade to see what the hold up is and get back to me tomorrow. We hang up, but I immediately call back because the irons I ordered were pre owned and listed as IN STOCK at 2nd swing, not to be fulfilled through taylormade. This time the rep says its close to closing time so he will check in on it in the morning and call me back.

June 12th, 2pm the next day, still no updates. So I call and I'm told the rep whos handling my order is on the phone and will call me back.

June 13th... no phone call... no email... no updates on the tracking.

June 14th... no phone call... no email... no updates on the tracking. So I contact PayPal and file a dispute. They escalate the claim. A few hours later I received an email from 2nd swing with a new label created. Guess it takes paypal escalation to get them to move on anything. I call 2nd swing to cancel the order and it turns out they still haven't even shipped the irons out and they may not actually be in stock. The rep says he will issue the refund, but that he needs to get someone else who is more familiar with paypal refunds to conduct the transaction.
Seriously?!?!

This business is so disorganized. Their site is a mess and has too many stock discrepancies. Their reps don't know how to process orders or even ship out in a timely manner. Now they apparently don't know how to issue refunds. No offer of expedited shipping for their errors. Nothing.

Thankfully I found the same set of irons over at Global Golf for 19 bucks less and they are BRAND NEW!!! 2nd swing is a joke. Won't be doing business with them again.

"Delaware location"
Delaware location. Holy smokes, I was so nervous- first time getting fitted. They have an associate there, Alex. How cool was he? He made my whole experience not only comfortable, but fun. He doesn't care what your skill level is, he just wants to get you into the right irons, driver, etc. I had some thoughts one what I wanted to hit.. he said, "hit them"

Then... lets hit some other ones.. lets let the numbers do the talking.

He was just so.. i don't know, comforting? We walked through a bunch of options and decided on a set of iron that weren't the most expensive, weren't the cheapest.. they were just the right ones. I'm so happy I had Alex. I didn't know a ton going in, I just knew that I wanted to get fitted.

No judgement, 15 minutes in, he wanted what I wanted. I'm ging to go back and get my driver fitted from him because he is the type of guy that will say.. "hey, don't change your driver.. you're good"

he is just honest, the best

I just ordered a second hand set of clubs for my wife, and it was a very pleasant experience. Colin Huffman understood exactly what I wanted, gave me some different options, and I was very satisfied with his suggestions. I have ordered from 2nd swing before and I have been happy every time!
